The forecast that week was rain, so we had to quickly get a tent added for the day of the wedding which made for a beautiful evening! Julie and Matt were such a sweet couple, and Fresh from the Kitchen (FFTK) was so honored to be part of their special day of soft pinks, ivory, dark brown, and burlap. Personal details were added by the bride like the Mr. and Mrs. signs for their chairs, and her china for the dessert table. The menu was a home style country theme that was a huge hit among all the guests.

Buffet Dinner:

    • Smoked Beef Brisket with Jus (carving station) with fresh baked rolls on the side and extra BBQ sauce
    • Apricot Whiskey Glazed Barbecue Chicken
    • Our Homemade Coleslaw
    • Rosemary-Garlic Oven Red Potatoes
    • Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
    • Cornbread with Corn Pieces with Whipped Honey Butter
    • Ice Tea; Freshly Squeezed Lemonade; Ice Water

The cupcakes in delicious flavors like chocolate caramel and white chocolate champagne with strawberry mousse, were provided by FFTK. The small cutting cake (carrot) and candy was provided by the mother of the bride.

Although rain had been a threat to the beautiful day, nothing thwarted what turned into the perfect evening of love and delicious food!
