Rose Quartz Pink – Pantone Color: 13-1520
One of 2016’s colors of the year (yep, this year Pantone shocked everyone by picking not one but two colors to represent the year), Rose Quartz tops our list of the hottest wedding and event colors. Rose quartz, with its tranquil and peaceful vibes exudes a classic timelessness that’s ideal for an event you’ll remember forever, like your wedding day.
If you’re picking multiple colors for your event, rose quartz is a great one to pick because it has similar qualities to neutrals; it goes with everything! Pairing rose quartz with a deeper, rich color works great or combining rose quartz with a bright, poppy color works too!
Serenity Blue – Pantone Color: 15-3919
Pantone’s second color of the year – Serenity Blue – is also a huge hit color for 2016’s event season. Serenity Blue epitomizes calm and peaceful; and it is a great way to incorporate these qualities to your event. Serenity Blue also works similarly as a neutral; the subtle color quality makes it a great pairing with almost any other color.
Silver Gray – Pantone Color: 14-0000
Silver Gray is huge for 2016. This pantone color brings a subtle sophistication to weddings and events. If you’re the type of person that loves black and white weddings for the clean colors, and understated qualities, you’ll love Silver Gray. This color is an updated 2016 twist on the black and white weddings we all love; the gray gives it just enough punch to bring the color palette straight into the 21st century – and perfectly into 2016, to be exact.
Fig Purple – Pantone Color: 19-1718
For all the color lovers out there that don’t love the subtle (dare we say “whimpy” colors) shown so far in 2016’s trends, we have a punchy, rich color that you’ll love – Fig Purple. This deep, saturated purple-maroon color is a perfect way to stay on-trend with your event and still have plenty of color. Pair this with fellow rich colors for an sophisticated look or pair with pops of bright hues to balance it out; either way you’ll love Fig Purple!
Cream Gold – Pantone Color: 13-0739
Cream Gold is a personal favorite of ours at FFTK. This stunning, bright, color reminds us of the Phoenix desert and the bright Arizona sun. Cream Gold, is a distinct and specific color (notice we didn’t just describe this as yellow). Cream Gold infuses warmth with a baby yellow to create a soft gold color that’s not too overpowering; instead of gaudy and embellished, think more earthen and natural in it’s color properties.
Beryl Green – Pantone Color: 16-5515
Last but not least, Beryl Green makes a strong showing for 2016. This rich green-blue-turquoise infused color combines hints of seafoam coloring with aspects of forest green to make a unique, lovely color. For brides and event planners looking to work with gender neutral colors, Beryl Green is a great choice. Unlike Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue and our other top 2016 picks that tend to have societally-deduced gender leanings, Beryl Green is a great choice for a professional, neutral statement. It works great for weddings, events, corporate parties, and other get togethers.
